1st Day of School Hair

As I am sure you can tell we now have bangs so we did a simple first day of school hairstyle.
She got all new bows (these bows match her school outfits perfectly. The bow for this outfit had the same beads that are on the neck of this dress.) She was determined to wear the matching bow this morning so we did a simple small braid on each side of her head. Then I put them together with an elastic and put the bow on.
Simple cute and she looked beautiful for her first day of school.

If anyone is interested the bows are from the website www.mom-stuff.com . All of her bows were custom made to match all of her new school clothes.

Medium Length Blunt Bob

Blunt Cut Bob

French braid Updo

A Fun Up do.

Make a center poof in the front of her hair.

Make 2 separate small french braids on both sides of the head.

Then pull the remaining hair up into a ponytail. I didn't pull the ponytail all the way through.
Then wrap a small piece of hair around the ponytail

This is what it looks like from the top of her head

Bridal Bun Roll

Part 2 Pigtails

First do the Part 1 parallel pigtails. Once that is done pull the sides up and make a puffy braid. Do the same to the other side.

Below is a picture of one side of her hair. (I didn't get a picture of what it looks like from the front)

I'm back

I'm back from my little 2 week vacation spending time with my family. So that means back to reality...sigh. Oh well- school starts soon & fall is right around the corner so we have lots to look forward to. I know I'm constantly posting side ponies - but I just love them. They are too cute.

Here's another side pony:
Start by splitting the hair about 2/3 of the way down, right in half. Add 5 elastics evenly on the bottom.
Twist them all together. You have to split each of the ponies in half so it can be part of a twist on each side (except the end pieces - I didn't divide them at all) So you come out with 5 twisted ponies.
Going off of my part (which I slanted - again I LOVE slanted parts too:), I sectioned off the rest of the hair into a pony right in the middle of the first 2 lower piggies. Include the twist into the pony above.
Do your next section, adding the twist from below. After I added that elastic, I brought over the piece from the left side & added another elastic so I have a section that is not only coming up, but going across. Do it all the way through. On the last section, I brought all the hair into the side pony.
Curl the pony & add a cute bow & you're finished!!
Front view: (a little too cheesy but atleast she's finally smiling for me)

Parallel Pigtails Toddler Part 1

Its as simple as it sounds I took the front part of her hair and secured it with and elastic on to the left side of her head. Then took the 2nd part and secured it on the right side of her head.
