When designing a dress, Elie is led by the principle that every woman should feel like a fairy tale princess in his gowns, which he apparently accomplishes with every single design.
His latest Haute Couture spring/summer 2012 collection brings a few surprises: there were shorter dresses with sleeves and high necklines, which is something that we don't usually see when it comes to Saab's designs. In this collection, he celebrated femininity with soft sorbet colors that remind of cotton candy: from baby pink, coral and mint to nude, sky blue and yellow.
